Development of plastic industry

first, develop "high-precision and cutting-edge" products and create brand benefits

according to customs statistics, China imported 313900 tons of plastic products in 1999, with an amount of 896 million US dollars; In 2000, 296400 tons of gold were imported, and the only such amount was US $1096 million. Although the import amount of plastic products increased significantly in 2000 compared with that in 1999, the quantity increased negatively, which was - 5.6%. Let's look at the export situation of plastic products in China: in 1999, the export was 2.8714 million tons, with an amount of 3.918 billion US dollars; In 2000, 3.4655 million tons were exported, amounting to US $4.894 billion. The export volume increased by 20.7% and the amount increased by 24.9%. This group of figures fully reflects the importance of developing and developing "high-tech" plastic products: only by striving to develop products with high-tech content and transforming them into productive forces, and promoting the establishment of product brand image, so that the products produced are like "the emperor's daughter does not worry about marriage", can the benefits of enterprises be doubled. For example, if there is a problem with the amplifier unit, we can know that there are many mature scientific and technological products in Colleges and universities, but the promotion work is not smooth. In the future, trade associations should make more connections, convene colleges and universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises to communicate face-to-face, and hold exhibitions and transfer meetings of scientific and technological achievements, so as to contribute to the development of "high-tech" plastic products with high scientific and technological content

According to the data published by the International Plastics Association, China's output of synthetic resin increased by 6.1 million tons, 6.77 million tons and 8.42 million tons respectively in 1997, 1998 and 1999, ranking fifth after the United States, Japan, Germany and South Korea; In terms of national consumption, it was 15.15 million tons in 1998, 18.16 million tons in 1999 and 22.18 million tons in 2000, surpassing Germany, Japan, Italy and the United States; In terms of per capita consumption, China's per capita plastic consumption in 1998, 1999 and 2000 was 12.1kg, 14kg and 17.52kg respectively. It is one of the countries with low per capita plastic consumption in the world, while countries and regions with high per capita consumption, such as the United States and Japan, can reach about 140kg. Therefore, it will take a long time for China's per capita plastic consumption to catch up with the level of advanced countries and regions, But at the same time, it also brings great potential and business opportunities to the development of China's plastic industry. It urges China's plastic production enterprises to develop and produce "short and fast" products in line with the use habits of Chinese consumers as soon as possible. Only products closer to people's daily life can create higher profits

Third, speed up the transformation and upgrading of equipment, promote the application of new technologies and improve competitiveness

in the 1980s, Nanjing's plastic industry was booming for a while, but after entering the 1990s, due to the old equipment and many varieties, the content of many pages is not often changed, and many plastic enterprises are in trouble. The most obvious example is the plastic products supporting the automobile industry, because there are no fist products, Soon lost in the fierce market competition. On the contrary, Jinling Petrochemical plastic factory has created good benefits due to the introduction of advanced German equipment to produce plastic pallets, 200 liter plastic barrels and other products. This shows the importance of equipment update. Facts have proved that in order to develop rapidly, we should not only speed up the renewal and transformation of equipment, but also pay attention to the application of mature new technologies, tap the potential of the enterprise itself, and achieve high performance, high efficiency, low cost and industrialization.
